The Bosnian genocide took place in 1995.  What took place was the the Serbians took over Bosnian Serb towns and “ethnically cleansed” them.  The Serbians deported children and women and killed most of the dutch soldiers and took their equipment to look like they were part of the army.  All of this took place in the Republika Srpska.  It ended 13 years ago and now pretty much everything is back to normal.

Reaction:

    Genocides are very bad.  It is hard to believe that people would do such horrible things to other people.  The Serbians had no right to do what they did to the Bosnians  and things like this need to stop.  In my opinion, I think other countries in the world should help save countries going through genocides because they are the only ones who have the power to stop them.  So overall, genocides are a bad thing and cause much pain and suffereing to countries and people.

    In the article “Adverse Effects due to Global Warming” by Jass Sukati, it explains the effects of global warming so far.  It explains how in the past nine years have been the warmest years on record due to Global Warming.  Also, it explains how there have been many more droughts in the past 25 years because of global warming.  Not only is the temperature of the Earth rising, but the temperature of the ocean is rising.  This is because the Polar Ice Caps are melting from Global Warming.  Overall, these are some of the effects of global warming this article explains and shows how we must do something about it.

   This article is very interesting because it makes you really think about what is happening to the Earth.  It makes you wonder if Global Warming is a theory, or an actuality.  It has many supports of how Global Warming exists, but it doesn’t mention any of the other sides of it.  Many scientists think Global Warming is a theory and that whats happening to the Earth right now is just a cycle.  Overall, this article is very informational and has many supports to as why global warming is happening but fails to state why it may not just be a cycle of the earth.
